Shaping the Future Together – Summer, Team Spirit and New Perspectives

Sometimes it is the informal moments that create the strongest sense of unity. That is why GST and Nomotec invited their employees to an after-work barbecue in Sierndorf – a relaxed summer afternoon filled with great conversations, team spirit and positive energy.

With pleasant summer temperatures – a welcome change after the hot days before – it was the perfect weather for a barbecue. It offered the opportunity to leave everyday work behind for a few hours and focus on personal exchange. A regional caterer and butcher provided an excellent barbecue buffet, while ice cream as a sweet finale and relaxed music created the perfect summer atmosphere.

The official part was opened by Managing Director Dr. Florian Schüssler, who provided a brief outlook on the future strategic direction of GST and Nomotec. Afterwards, the Group’s CFO, Stefan Ivetic, also addressed the employees. The focus was on the continued development of both companies, technological innovation, and the opportunities arising from even closer collaboration. The message was clear: together we want to actively shape the future – with know-how, innovative spirit and a strong team. Because the best solutions emerge where competence, trust and collaboration go hand in hand.

As is often the case with such events, not all colleagues were able to attend. Customer assignments, installations and external commitments such as final examinations naturally took priority. All the more we were pleased that the majority of the workforce was present. It was also especially nice to welcome colleagues from the Wolkersdorf site, who joined the Sierndorf team for a successful summer afternoon.

Personal exchange away from daily business is an important part of our corporate culture. In a technology-driven environment where projects and deadlines shape everyday work, such opportunities are particularly valuable. New ideas often emerge where people engage in informal conversations. Team spirit, mutual trust and a shared understanding of the future are essential building blocks for successfully meeting upcoming challenges.

A special thank you goes to the owners of the corporate group, who made and organized this joint barbecue possible. Due to scheduling conflicts, they were unfortunately unable to attend in person this time. With six companies within the group, coordinating common dates is not always easy – which makes occasions like this all the more valuable. With representation by Managing Director Dr. Florian Schüssler as well as Stefan and Teo Ivetic, the event nevertheless received a fitting official framework and highlighted the importance of personal exchange within the entire corporate group.

Under the motto “You have to celebrate the moments as they come.” the afternoon became a strong symbol that cohesion, mutual appreciation and shared visions form the foundation for a successful future.
