Flexible machining of workpieces in just one clamping set-up using the plunge-cut method

High numbers of different workpieces call for the least possible effort in terms of retooling. The production batch sizes range from 1 workpiece right up to series production.

Machines for simple, fast and fully automatic retooling of e.g.:

Clamping length (workpiece length compensation)
Workpiece not driven by a driver, but by centres with 2 driven workheads
Grinding wheel quick-clamping
Shifting table assemblies

Example:

Grinding of diameters on rotor shafts with/without rotor pack by straight infeed method, with 2 grinding wheels on one swivel axis. The high numbers of different rotor shafts call for the least possible effort in terms of retooling. Production batch sizes from 1 workpiece onward.
